The Show Must Go On

A popular phrase is carrying new meaning this year for the showbiz-friendly town of Branson, Mo.: “The show must go on.”

After an EF2 tornado ripped apart local homes and businesses in late February, our beloved Midwest entertainment capitol is focused on getting back to normal as quickly as they can. After all, families across the region are depending on them to facilitate the Ozark vacations and getaways they look forward to every summer.

In the Midwest, we know what it takes to band together and rebuild, which is exactly what is happening in Branson. According to local news sources, clean-up crews are hitting the streets hard in order to clear debris and prepare the area for the busy season, even distributing brochures to locals regarding how they can help and what needs to be done. All of the clean-up efforts will point toward a city-wide effort that will take place mid-April.

What does that mean for you? It means that Branson is in business and ready to serve as your vacation destination! In fact, with a renewed sense of community in the wake of destruction, it’s an even better place to visit than before.

As they say, the show must go on. We’re proud of Branson for embracing that truth, and we hope you will be too when you come and see it for yourself.
